Fine Gael and Fianna Fáil have moved closer to a deal that can pave the way for Enda Kenny to be reappointed as Taoiseach.
It is understood the two parties have agreed to a temporary suspension of water charges, while a Commission is set up to examine their future.
The parties have not agreed on the duration, but have agreed that the Commission's findings will be debated in the Oireachtas.
