Fine Gael has published its 'Republic of Opportunity' rolling manifesto which includes a year's shared parental leave, a commission on women's equality and changes to welfare benefits.
The party says the document will now be debated and changed where necessary, instead of 'springing a manifesto on the people 2 weeks into an election'.
The measures are uncosted and their adoption is not 'a given'.
Taoiseach Leo Varadkar says it's about having a more open democracy.
