Campaigning continues this morning in the general election, in the wake of an opinion poll that shows another drop in support for Fine Gael.

The Red C poll in today's Irish Sun shows Fine Gael support down 2 points to 26%, in a sample of just over a thousand voters between Thursday and Monday.

But when the party sat at 31% a fortnight ago, it raises the stakes ahead of an Enda Kenny interview on RTE radio later this morning.

Fianna Fail's Micheal Martin will be in Galway while back in Dublin, the party outlines its plans for job creation.

Sinn Féin will outline its plans to tackle homelessness, while Labour unveils its plans ot develop the arts and culture sector.

The Social Democrats will unveil their plan for an Irish NHS, while People Before Profit launches its youth manifesto, and the Greens launch their economic plan.
