The world's first baby has been born using a new "three person" fertility technique.

The five-month-old boy has the usual DNA from his mum and dad - as well as some of genetic code from a donor.

Sky's health correspondent Thomas Moore says the process was used so that the child would be free of a genetic condition his mother carries.
