The air traffic control company Nats says its computer systems are back to full operational capacity following yesterday's technical glitch which caused hundreds of flight delays.

Around 38 flights were cancelled at Heathrow airport in London this morning including the 7am British Airways fight to Dublin.

There will be some knock on effects today at airports here and across the water as a result.

Passengers are advised to check with their airline before travelling to the airport.

Airline Pilot Christine McGee says airport operations will slowly be rectified.
