A murder investigation has been launched - following the discovery of the body of Adrian Folan in Co Clare.
Gardai have confirmed the 41 year old met a violent death.
His body was found in a disused quarry near Liscannor yesterday morning.
Meanwhile - his family is appealing for privacy.
In a statement they've asked all media, including photographers not to approach the house or any member of the family.
Detectives are meanwhile continuing to question a man in his forties in Co Galway.
