One of Donald Trump's former top advisers has reportedly offered to testify at hearings into alleged Russian meddling in the U.S. election - in exchange for immunity.

Michael Flynn was forced out of his national security brief last month for misleading the vice president over his contact with Moscow.

His lawyer says he "certainly has a story to tell" and "very much wants to tell it, should the circumstances permit."
