Four Fine Gael TDs have now declared thier intention to to  vote against the Government's abortion law.   Dublin North East TD Terence Flanagan has now joined his colleagues Peter Matthews, Brian Walsh and Billy Timmins in declaring his intention not to support the bill.

The first vote on the the Protection of Life During Pregnancy Bill will take place tomorrow evening.

Today the Dáil will sit for eight hours for a second stage debate on the controversial abortion Bill and more Fine Gael TD's are expected to outline their position.

Dublin TD Terence Flanagan has indicated he will vote against it.  He's also appealing to the Taoiseach to allow a free vote.

Other TD's have expressed reservations about the legislation but its not clear what way they will vote.

Others like Junior Minister Lucinda Creighton and Mayo's John O'Mahony may support it in tomorrow's vote in the hope of making changes to it at committee stage.
