Today is Friday the 13th said to be unlucky for some.

It's actually the 3rd Friday-the-13th of the year - we also had one in February and March.

The next time a trio of Friday the thirteenths will occur will be in the year 2026.

In western culture the number 13 is often feared as being unlucky.

But why?
