Legendary sports broadcaster Bill O'Herlihy will be laid to rest on Friday.

The Cork native passed away at the age of 76 yesterday.

Funeral mass will take place on Friday at the Church of Our Lady of Perpetual Succour, Foxrock Co. Dublin at 11.30 am.

Burial will take place in Shanganagh Cemetery.

The much-loved presenter is survived by his wife Hilary and his daughters Jill and Sally.
