The funeral of Barry Ryan sr. has taken place in West Cork.

He was one of three people who drowned last week off the coast of Baltimore.

Funeral mass for the 51 year old was held at the Sacred Heart Church in Rath.

Efforts are continuing to recover the remains of his son Barry Davis Ryan.

The 21 year old's girlfriend Niamh O'Connor also drowned when a freak wave swept her out to sea.
