The funeral of five members of the same family who tragically drowned in County Donegal is underway in Derry.

Sean McGrotty was killed along with his two sons, their grandmother and her 14-year-old daughter when their car entered the water at Buncrana Pier.

The only survivor was his four-month-old baby girl.

His partner and the children's mother - Louise was in Liverpool on a hen party.

Their funeral mass is taking place at the Holy Family Church this afternoon - they'll be buried together afterwards.

Parish Priest Father Paddy O'Kane is presiding over the funerals.
