The funeral of American comedian Joan Rivers is expected to take place in New York today.
The 81 year old died in hospital on Thursday - a week after her heart stopped beating during an operation.
Guests at the comics sendoff in Manhattan will walk a special crimson carpet before paying their final respects to the star.
Rivers first came to prominence in 1965 as a guest on The Tonight Show, a pioneering late-night program with interviews and comedy
The show established her particular comic style, poking fun at celebrities, but also at herself, often joking about her extensive plastic surgery.
