Gardaí have appealed for assistance in tracing a 24 year old man who's missing from his home in Dublin.

Philip Finnegan is missing since Wednesday from Mary Aikenhead House in Dublin 8.

He is 5 feet 4 inches in height with dark brown hair and blue eyes.

When last seen he was wearing a light grey "Fila" top and dark grey Adidas tracksuit bottoms.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Kilmainham Garda Station.
