Gardaí have begun a major excavation in a Dublin park, as they search for the remains of missing Dubliner James Nolan.
It's estimated the dig in Tolka Valley Park in Finglas will take three weeks to complete.
Mr Nolan went missing in November 2010.
His severed arm was found several weeks later on a Dollymount strand in Dublin.
The Dubliner had convictions for rape, false imprisonment and burglary.
Gardaí are again appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
