Gardaí have seized cannabis with an estimated street value of 600,000 euro in Dublin.

In an intelligence-led operation, gardaí stopped a truck and a car at St Margaret's Road in Finglas shortly before 7pm yesterday evening.

During the search they uncovered 100 kilograms of Cannabis resin and over 40,000 prescription drugs.

Two men, in their 30s, were arrested and are being detained at Finglas Garda Station.
