Hundreds of gardai are out on the streets of the capital today ahead of the England Ireland game this lunchtime.

It's their first visit to Dublin since the violent scenes at Lansdowne Road 20 years ago.

The garda presence is acting as a deterrent and a precaution.

Traffic restrictions are in place in parts of Dublin for the soccer friendly.
