Rank and File Gardaí have withdrawn their cooperation from a major modernisation programme announced by An Garda Siochana last month.
The Garda Representative Association says their 10 thousand members won’t engage with the process.
The GRA says it is taking the action because six out of ten of their members are facing a pay freeze for not signing up to the Lansdowne Road agreement.
The modernisation programme aims to increase the use of technology by front line Gardaí, but will be hampered by the GRA’s decision.
