Baby found in Dublin was born at least 24 hours before

Gardaí are renewing their appeal for the mother of a baby found in Rathcoole County Dublin to come forward.

The little girl is believed to have been born in the day and a half prior to her discovery yesterday afternoon is in a stable condition at Tallaght hospital.

Gardaí say she was fed and nourished - when she was found on the Steelstown Road.

The authorities are concerned for the welfare of her mother and are appealing to her to seek immediate medical treatment.
