Gardaí are appealing for witnesses after a man's body was found in the Royal Canal in north Dublin.
The discovery was made at Ballybough Bridge at around 12.30 pm yesterday afternoon.
The scene was sealed off and the man's remains were taken to the city morgue for a post mortem, that will determine the course of the investigation.
The cause of death and whether foul play was involved is unknown at this stage.
