Gardai are appealing for witnesses following an aggravated burglary at the home of a man in his 80’s in county Wicklow on Wednesday night.

It happened at around 9pm in Shillelagh when three masked men forced their way into the man’s home.

They made off with an unknown sum of cash.

The man was taken to Naas hospital for treatment.

His condition is unknown.
