Gardaí in Dublin are trying to track down a taxi driver who may have witnessed a fatal crash earlier this month.

A woman in her 40s was knocked down and killed on the Hartstown Road in Clonsilla in the early hours of January 3rd.

A second woman - also in her 40s - was injured and is still in a serious condition in hospital.

A man in his 20s has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving but Gardai are now anxious to speak to a taxi driver who may have passed the scene.
