Gardai are appealing for witnesses to a shooting near a shopping centre in Finglas yesterday evening.

No-one was injured in the incident in the car park of the food outlets at Charlestown Shopping centre at around 6.15pm.

Gardai say a man discharged a firearm a number of times before being driven away in a silver Volkswagen Golf, registration 02 MH 7775.

The car was found burnt out in Shancastle Estate in Clondalkin on the other side of the city.
