Mid-ranking gardai are meeting to consider whether they'Â’ll go on strike in a row over pay.

Although striking is against the law for gardai, the head of the AGSI says gardai have never been so motivated to take action on their pay.

The Justice Minister and Tanaiste says she wants to find a solution thatÂ’s fair to gardai and to the taxpayer.
