Gardai in Limerick have charged a man with the murder of 35 year old Willie Lynch.

It's understood he suffered stab wounds at his house in Pallaskenry on Saturday evening.

A 29 year old man was charged at Newcastlewest garda station this evening.

He will appear before Newcastlewest District Court at 10.30am tomorrow morning.
