Gardai in Co Cavan have located a missing 31 year old man who was believed to have been abducted yesterday.
A massive search was launched after Richard O'Donovan was reported missing with Gardai claiming they were very concerned for his safety.
It's believed he was bundled into a silver BMW jeep with the registration number 03 MN in the Swiftbrook Glen Estate in Virginia Co Cavan at around half past 3 yesterday afternoon.
Gardai say Mr O'Donovan made contact with them this morning, and they met him at an undisclosed location.
He's believed to have sustained minor injuries, and has been taken to hospital for assessment.
While they have spoken to him, they are awaiting medical clearance before formally interviewing him about his ordeal.
Gardai have offered their thanks to the public for the help they received following yesterday's apparent abduction.
