An investigation's underway into an alleged assault at the Wright Venue in Swords.

The alleged attack took place at the Wright Venue in the early hours of last Saturday the 29th of July.

It's understood a young woman was targeted in the VIP area.

She was taken to the sexual assault unit of the Rotunda Hospital for treatment.

Gardai are trawling CCTV as part of their investigation.

Two men were arrested shortly after the alleged assault and taken to Coolock Garda Station for questioning.

They've since been released without charge and the case is being referred to the office of the DPP.
