Gardai have appealed for witnesses after a man collapsed and died on a street in central Dublin this morning.
The man who was in his late 30's was found in the middle of the road on Westland Row at around 7.30am.
A passing motorist went to the man's aid and gave him CPR.
He was rushed to St James' Hospital but died a short time later.
Gardai in Pearse Street say they are investigating all the circumstances surrounding the man's sudden death.
Gardai say there were a number of people on the street at that time.
