Gardai investigating the murder of prominent dissident republican Vincent Ryan in Dublin are renewing their appeal for information.

The 25 year old was shot a number of times on McKee Road, Finglas on Monday. 

Investigating officers are tracing the whereabouts of a silver Volkswagen Golf registration number 07-KE-10213.

This car was taken during a burglary at Cluaindara, Derrinstown in Co Kildare on the 13th of October 2015 and was found burnt out at Red Lane, Newhall in Naas on the 29th of February.

Anyone who may have seen this vehicle is being asked to contact Finglas Garda Station.
