Residents of one housing estate in Togher in Cork are taking a tough stance on the installation of water meters.
Gardai had to be called to Ashbrook Estate in Leghanaghmore earlier today after locals refused to allow workers from Irish Water install the meters.
Locals have described the action as a peaceful protest and they say they're determined to keep up their fight against the meters
