Gardaí have issued a renewed appeal for information about the murder of Raonaid Murray.
The call comes on the 17th anniversary of the brutal murder of the teenager.
17 year old Raonaid left Scott's pub in Dun Laoghaire to walk home, at around 11.20 on the night of September 3rd 1999.
Just over an hour later her body was found at nearby Silchester Crescent in Glenageary - less than 500 metres from her home.
Gardai say they've recently spoken again with a number of Raonaid's close friends, and remain fully committed to the investigation of her murder.
They've called on anyone who knew the teenager to contact them. In particular they'd like to speak to anyone who has any doubts about the alibis provided by others.
Detectives say anyone who hasn't come forward with relevant information may be unknowingly shielding a killer.
