Gardai question two over Tullow death

An Irish man in his 50s and a Latvian man are being held by Gardai investigating the violent death of a man in Carlow yesterday.

The body of 41 year old Gints Intembergs, who was originally from Latvia, was discovered at a house in the Graigowen estate in Tullow yesterday morning.

He is understood to have died violently, however Gardai are awaiting the results of a post mortem examination to determine an exact cause of death.

A second Latvian man who was found injured at the house is being treated at St. Luke's hospital in Kilkenny.
