Gardaí investigating the murder of Kenneth O'Brien have renewed their appeal for information.
The 33 year old went missing a week ago, and his remains were discovered in a suitcase in the Grand Canal at Ardclough the following day.

It's understood gardai are following some 200 lines of inquiry, but no arrests have yet been made.
Mr. O'Brien had just recently returned from working in Australia.
The father of one left his house on Lealand Road in Clondalkin last Friday, January 15th, having told his family he was going to work outside Dublin. However it's understood that he did not have a car, as his partner was using the family vehicle.
Around 24 hours later, a suitcase containing his remains was found by passersby walking along the canal.

This evening, An Garda Síochána have renewed their appeal for information.
They're looking to speak to anyone who was in or around the Grand Canal near Ardclough on Friday and early Saturday January 15th and 16th to contact them. Investigating Gardaí are also keen to speak to anyone who may have seen or had any contact with Kenneth since the early hours of Friday morning when he left Lealand Road in Clondalkin or can assist in tracing his movements.
Investigations Editor with the Sunday World Nicola Tallant says nobody has come forward to say they gave him a lift;
The body of Mr. O'Brien had been dismembered, and identifiers such as his hands and head were removed.
Gardaí are still looking for the murder scene.
To this end, they've repeated their appeal to anybody returning to their property or premises after the weekend to check to see if there was anything unusual. Was a room or equipment disturbed or their premises in anyway different than when they left. Did you as an employee or employer notice anything different in your premises?
Anyone with information is asked to contact the incident room at Leixlip Garda Station 01 666 7800.
A series of check points will be carried out this evening in the Ardclough area as part of our ongoing investigations where an opportunity will be provided for persons who visit or use the area to meet Gardaí and provide information if they so wish.
