The new chairperson of the Policing Authority says she believes Gardai are responding well to the upsurge in gangland crime.
The force has been criticised over its response, since the Regency Hotel attack. 
And Josephine Feehily says the body will have questions to ask the force once it has a full body of data.
But she believes Gardai need to be given full credit for how they've responded to the criminals:
