Gardaí are appealing for help in tracing a man missing from Cavan.

Uldis Mikelsons was last seen leaving his home in Swellan Lower last Friday morning.

He's described as being 5 foot 11 inches in height, of medium build, with brown hair and green eyes.

When last seen Uldis was wearing brown trousers, grey jumper and black shoes he was also carrying a blue coloured back pack.

Anyone who can help in finding him is asked to contact Gardaí.
