Gardai are seeking a third man in connection with the shooting dead of a man in Dublin last night.

A 35 year old man, named locally as Alan O’Neill was shot a number of times at his house on Kiltalown Road in Tallaght, he died a short time later.

Two men, aged 18 and 28, were arrested in nearby Belfry square, where a car was being burned out.

Gardai are appealing for any witnesses in the area to come forward, they’re particularly interested in talking to anyone who saw a dark-coloured Nissan Almera– or the silver Mazda that was burned out.
