Gardai in Athlone are trying to trace a missing teenager.

17 year old Daniel Kane was last seen on Thursday afternoon at around 1 o'clock, in Athlone.

He's described as being of slight build with brown hair and blue eyes.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Gardai in Athlone.

And Gardai at Clontarf in Dublin are seeking the publics assistance in tracing the whereabouts of 38 year old Catherine O' Reilly.

Catherine was last seen near the Merrywell Industrial Estate in Ballymount on Thursday evening.

She is described as being 5' 4'' - of slim build with long brown and blue eyes.
