Gardai have seized drugs in a total of six raids carried out today in counties Kildare, Carlow and Dublin.
They conducted searches in six separate locations today as part of Operation Thor - targeting organised crime gangs in the Dublin area.
Searches were carried out in Kildare, Carlow and Dublin - and small quantities of illegal drugs were seized in all six raids.
One person was arrested - a 31 year old man - who is currently being questioned under section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
It brings the number of people detained this week under Operation Thor to 36.
Gardai say the successful operation is based on coordinated crime prevention and enforcement activity based on intelligence.
They are continuing to urge members of the public to report any suspicious activity to their local station - or ring the Garda confidential line on 1800 666 111.
