Gardaí have seized drugs in Kilkenny city with an estimated value of 41 and a half thousand euro.

Two men aged 25 and 33 were arrested after a surveillance operation, during which cocaine worth 17 and a half thousand euro was seized.

In a follow up search of two houses, more cocaine with a street value of 24 thousand euro was found.

Both men are being held at Kilkenny Garda station under section 2 of the drug trafficking act.
