Former England footballer Paul Gascoigne has spoken about his battle with drugs - and admits it left him extremely paranoid.

During an interview with GQ magazine, he recalls throwing his watch out of a window, because he thought it was 'listening' to him.

He says the height of his cocaine use, a decade ago, was the worst time in his life.
