Three people have been killed in the western German city of Muenster after a van drove into people sitting outside in the sunshine.
The driver of the vehicle was one of the dead - he died after shooting himself.
Police, fire-brigade and rescue vehicles are all attending the scene.

Police spokesman Andreas Bode confirmed to reporters " shortly before three thirty a vehicle drove into the outdoor area of a restaurant in the city centre. Three people were killed, 20 injured and 6 are seriously injured. We are looking into a suspicious object in the vehicle, but the investigation is ongoing."
Police NRW MS asks citizens to avoid the city centre. Rescue forces are taking care of injured persons.
