A German teenager has lost his driving licence - less than an hour after he got it.
Police in Hemer, near Dortmund say the 18-year-old freshly qualified driver was caught doing 95km/h in a 50km/h zone.
The teen - who had four of his friends in the car at the time - had earned his licence only 49 minutes beforehand.
German media reports that the teen has been banned from driving for at least a month.
He's been ordered to pay a €200 fine, and told to take more driving lessons.
His driving probation period has also been extended.
