Thousands of people have taken to the streets of Limerick to catch a glimpse of a giant granny that has fallen from space.
The 7.5m pensioner is currently resting in a gigantic wheelchair after trudging through parts of the city on a three-day visit.
She is operated by 70 "Lilliputians" and weighs one tonne.
The spectacle presented by French street theatre company Royal de Luxe is the highlight performance of Limerick's reign as Ireland's first national city of culture.
