John Gilligan is back in the Supreme court this morning.
HeÂ’'s trying to prevent the Criminal Assets Bureau from selling three properties that he used to own.
In 1996 the CAB seized a house at Jessbrook Equestrian Centre in County Kildare and two houses in West Dublin.
Mr Gilligan was released from prison in 2013 after serving 17 years behind bars for drug trafficking.
Yesterday his legal team argued that the assets were taken without a trial to prove if they were the proceeds of crime.
