This time next year people with ginger hair could finally have their own emoji.
There's been a global campaign to get the redhead emoji included, in Scotland over 20,000 people signed a petition demanding redheads be represented.
Now, a list of 67 draft emojis has been compiled by Unicode to gain status by June 2018.
President and co-founder of Unicode Mark Davis tweeted to UK Redhead Campaigner Jeremy Burge so it looks like it's definitely a runner for next Summer:

Apple currently has six different skin tones, and over a dozen hair styles for its characters but has faced criticism on social media for not introducing a redhead.
There's already been celebrations on Twitter with one user saying its 'a big step towards ginger equality'.
