All-Girl schools make up the top five in the country, in a new league table.

The Sunday Times/Parent Power Best Schools has placed Laurel Hill Coláiste in Limerick at the top of the league table.

The list is compiled by assessing the percentage of students who go on to university, and third level colleges.

Laurel Hill sent almost 94 per cent to third level.

Only two of the top 25 are mixed schools.
