A man who's been on Death Row in the US for 17 years is scheduled to be executed by lethal injection tonight, after his final appeal for a new hearing failed.

Richard Glossip was twice convicted of the murder of his boss in 1997, despite there being no physical evidence against him.

He's always insisted he was framed by a colleague.
