Postgraduate students can now apply for a student grant under new changes to the application system.

It's just one of a number of changes being made for the grant scheme which is now open for the 2017 - 2018 academic year.

Mature students - who previously dropped out - will now also get a second chance within a 5 year time frame.

SUSI is expecting more than 105,000 students to apply for a grant this year and the advice is to get in early.
