Google has announced that it is to re-structure to separate its online businesses from its development and research divisions.
Alphabet will be the new name of what will effectively be a holding company for Google divisions.
Larry Page will become its CEO while Google co-founder Sergey Brin will be President of the new company.
They say that they're changing the structure to make a clear difference between their main business and more long-term projects.
Google will be the largest subsidiary of the newly branded Alphabet.
