The Tanaiste says the Government is determined to make sure that public sector pay guidelines are fully complied with - after it emerged that one in four hospitals and health agencies are in breach.
The hospitals in question are giving some of their senior executives top-up payments from private sources.
In some cases, top executives are paid well over 200 thousand euro a year.
